What personal data do we process?
As part of your relationship with us, Renfe Operadora may process the following categories of personal data:
- • Identification details, such as your name, surname, image or National Identity Card (DNI) number.
- • Contact details, such as your email, telephone or postal address (including name, surname, pictures and e-mail address.
- • Curricular details, such as your professional profile, experience or academic background.
Renfe Operadora asks you to keep your details duly updated to ensure that the data we process is accurate at all times. If these should change, please let us know so that they can be updated.
What do we use your personal data for?
Renfe Operadora will process your data for purposes such as:
- To answer any queries you may have regarding the functioning and structure of TrenLab.
- To manage your participation in TrenLab’s calls for proposals as well as to manage your relationship with us in the event that your project is one of the selected ones.
- To be featured in publications, which may include details and images of the selected project holders, if they have given their consent.
How long will we store your data for?
In accordance with the aforementioned purposes, we will store your data for the time necessary to process the call for proposals and, if your project has been selected, to process your data for as long as you maintain a relationship with Renfe Operadora.
Subsequently, we will store your data in accordance with the periods indicated in the applicable legislation depending on the processing carried out or, where appropriate, until you request the erasure of your data. In this case, we will keep it blocked for the periods legally provided for in accordance with the legislation in force.
Why do we use your personal data (legal basis)?
- For the appropriate management of your relationship with Renfe Operadora, as well as for the pertinent pre-contractual measures applied in relation to participation in TrenLab calls.
- On the basis of the consent you have given us for the publication of your data on Renfe Operadora’s social networks in the event that your submission to the call for proposals is successful.
How did we obtain your data?
The data that we process for the purposes set out above is obtained directly from you, through our web forms or other similar means.
In addition, your data may have been provided by a third party participating in the same call. Accordingly, and in the event that during the completion of the registration form you have provided personal information about other members of the participating team, you will have previously advised and informed the owners of said personal data, confirming that they consent to this participation, without prejudice to the fact that they will be informed as soon as possible, once their data has been collected.
Who will receive your data?
We will communicate your data to other companies in the Renfe Group, as well as other entities that participate in the management of TrenLab projects and their calls for proposals, under the terms necessary to be able to manage your participation.
The competent public bodies and courts will also receive your data when Renfe Operadora is legally obliged to provide them.
In addition, Renfe Operadora works with certain third-party service providers who have access to your personal data and who process the aforementioned data in the name and on behalf of Renfe Operadora as a result of their provision of services.
What rights do you have?
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, limitation of processing and data portability by sending an e-mail to derechos.renfeepe@renfe.es or by post to Renfe Operadora EPE, Avenida Pio XII, 110 Caracola 3 – 28036 Madrid.
