Can I apply to more than one challenge in the call for proposals?

Yes, if the applicant sees an opportunity to apply their solution to different challenges, they can apply to more than one. However, it is not possible to submit multiple applications for the same challenge, and the applicant must submit an individual application to each challenge.

Can you recommend which challenge is best suited for my company?

No, we cannot recommend which challenge is best suited to applicants' because of the Public Sector Procurement Law (LCSP) in Spain. This law requires that procurement processes be transparent, fair, and compliant with legal principles.

If my company is not registered in Spain, can I apply to the acceleration programme?

Yes, whether the company is registered within or outside the EU, it is eligible to participate in the project competition. However, it should be noted that part of the company's team should be fluent in Spanish to maximize their experience and carry out the pilot project.

Can I attend the acceleration programme online?

TrenLab's acceleration programme has a hybrid format, with mentoring, tutoring, and networking sessions that will sometimes be in person and sometimes virtual. Therefore, candidates must be available to attend these activities, which will be held in Madrid. In addition, the winners of the acceleration programme will have access to an exclusive workspace in Madrid, if needed, and will be able to attend in-person events where they will have the opportunity to meet investors and other corporations.

What's the eligibility criteria?

The requirements that candidates must meet are detailed in the Administrative Clauses document for each challenge in TrenLab's call for proposals, in the section 'Requirements that participants must meet'. This document, along with the Technical Specifications document, can be found on the Public Sector Procurement Portal. On this website, you will find an individual link for each challenge in the call for proposals section, including the tender documents and other relevant documentation to sign up to our accelerator programme.

Where do I submit my application?

Candidates looking to apply for the acceleration programme must submit their application(s) through the Public Sector Procurement Platform, where you will find the challenge(s) you wish to apply for, and download the Proposal Preparation and Submission Tool. What documents do I need to prepare?

The documentation required to prepare the applications is outlined in the Administrative Terms and Conditions under the heading ‘Submission of Bids’. This section also details the requirements for the documentation submitted with the application, such as language, minimum content, and submission format, among others.

Who can I contact if I have any questions during the process?

Anyone interested in participating in the acceleration programme can request clarification exclusively via the Public Sector Procurement Platform, by logging in as a user and using the ‘request information’ option.
